Valnova is committed to improving safety and mobility for residents and the community. In order to provide improved access to the Valnova development for several years to come, an overpass at State Highway 16 (SH-16) and Valnova Drive will be built.
Construction will begin in March 2026 and is expected to be complete by December 2026.

What traffic impacts are expected during construction?
- Traffic shifts and new traffic patterns will be in place on SH-16.
- Some lane restrictions and closures will occur on SH-16.
- Work will be done during the day with some closures anticipated overnight.
- Some flagging will take place on SH-16 during construction.
- Speed limits will be reduced on SH-16 in late March.
Valnova has worked alongside the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) to ensure this overpass will align with future plans on SH-16. In addition, Valnova is working to widen and improve the intersection at Beacon Light Road as part of a traffic mitigation agreement with ITD.
