Eagle, Idaho — The Ada County Commissioners voted to approve the renaming of W. Aerie Drive to W. Valnova Drive, effective September 30, 2025. Before approving the road name change, Ada County Commissioners held a public hearing on September 22, 2025.
W. Valnova Drive applies to the stretch of roadway from Highway 16 continuing east to the third (easternmost) roundabout within the Valnova development as shown on the map below. This renaming identifies the Valnova development right from the main access road off Highway 16, resulting in easier navigation for emergency responders, service providers, residents, and visitors.
“We appreciate the support and coordination of Ada County Commission, Ada County Assessor’s Office, City of Eagle, and our emergency services team, especially Eagle Fire District,” noted Nick Weaver, Valnova General Manager.
Residents, service providers, and mapping platforms will begin to see road updates as local jurisdictions and agencies implement the change and update road signage within the next couple of weeks.
